What does “Bicultural” Mean to You?

The term “bicultural” has become more and more popular in recent times. But what does it really mean? Have you ever thought of yourself in this way? For Hispanics living in the U.S., most have probably not ever really thought about it, even though, they’ve probably lived it.

In recognition of April as National Poetry Month, we present a cute poem, “You Know You’re Bicultural” written by Dr. Ma. Alma G. Pérez about what it means to be bicultural written in a Mexican American point of view. This and other poems can be found in Boundless 2016: The Anthology of the Rio Grande Valley International Poetry Festival available on Amazon.

We hope you enjoy it!
