Our creative team is led by:

 Business Development Manager – Maricia Rodriguez, MBA

Maricia cultivated a love of literature, art and music from an early age. She studied journalism and has experience in both newspaper and television news writing. Her love of the environment led her to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-environmental Science from Texas A&M College Station. She worked in environmental consulting for over a decade as both a field investigator and project manager.

She later obtained her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Houston with a specialization in entrepreneurship. After having her third child, she switched gears and returned to her love of literature and writing when she was asked to help start up Del Alma Publications. She leads the sales and marketing department. She has three rambunctious children and is raising them bilingually.

 

 

Design Editor – Teresa Estrada

Teresa is an accomplished process engineer. She holds a a degree in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University - College Station.  She has worked in the semiconductor industry for the past 14 years. Her attention to detail and eye for aesthetics has led her to develop an expertise in graphic design as well. She also co-owns a painting business, where she focuses on marketing and customer satisfaction.

She is a strong advocate for dual language programs and is raising two children who are currently enrolled in a public school Spanish immersion program.  

 

  

Legal Adviser – Anita Pérez, JD

Anita obtained her Bachelor in Business Administration with a Finance concentration from Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Upon graduation, she worked as a Financial Analyst/Accountant for various large companies for several years. 

She then obtained her Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Mary's University School of Law. She worked for several law firms before she opened her own practice. She enjoys working on a diversity of cases and stays abreast of new changes in the law. She is one of the few attorneys in the State of Texas who has committed to the bar to complete double the requirements of continuing legal education, having maintained her membership in the College of the State Bar of Texas since she began practicing law.
